This is an online, context-sensitive documentation system that is based on business
functions. When a function is selected for implementation, the setup and processing
requirements are identified at the data field level. Online Help serves as documentation
for OMD customers and a knowledge base for OMD customer support personnel. Documentation
is constantly updated and is shipped to the customer with each OMD software release.
Business Policy Definition
Business policy control file parameters are established by the Customer and define business
policy preferences and control system operation. This allows companies to configure the OMD
software to meet their individual requirements and preferences.
Exception & Suspect Reporting
"Acceptable" parameters are defined and allow transactions or events outside these
parameters to be easily identified and reviewed by management. User-definable reports may
be selected for specific period ranges, products, customers, types of programs, etc.
